Chef Sekou began his culinary journey in 2010 in family-run restaurants in Venice, where he developed a deep appreciation for traditional Italian cuisine. Inspired by the rich flavours of Venetian home cooking, he honed his skills preparing meals for his siblings and experimenting with classic recipes. As his career developed, Sekou honed his culinary expertise across various regions of Italy, deepening his appreciation for authentic Italian gastronomy and regional specialities. He later expanded his repertoire by exploring Oriental flavours leading sushi and Japanese culinary operations in Rome, before launching his own sushi concept at the prestigious JW Marriott Resort in Venice. In 2019, Sekou relocated to London to broaden his culinary horizons.
