Chef James Dugan, Executive Chef at Sheraton Grand Park Lane, brings over 30 years of culinary expertise to the heart of Mayfair. His journey began at the five-star Chewton Glen, followed by training under Michelin-starred Jean-Christophe Novelli at Four Seasons London. He later helped launch Hotel Café Royal and earned Michelin stars at 36 on the Quay and Lindsay House, working alongside renowned chef Richard Corrigan. A proud Hampshire native, James is passionate about British cuisine and provenance. At Sheraton Grand, he oversees four distinctive outlets and the hotel’s grand Ballroom events. Chef Sekou began his culinary journey in 2010 in family-run restaurants in Venice, where he developed a deep appreciation for traditional Italian cuisine. Inspired by the rich flavours of Venetian home cooking, he honed his skills preparing meals for his siblings and experimenting with classic recipes. As his career developed, Sekou honed his culinary expertise across various regions of Italy, deepening his appreciation for authentic Italian gastronomy and regional specialities. He later expanded his repertoire by exploring Oriental flavours leading sushi and Japanese culinary operations in Rome, before launching his own sushi concept at the prestigious JW Marriott Resort in Venice.
