Sydney

Sydney is one of the largest cities in Australia and is the capital of New South Wales. Home to many famous landmarks, the best place to begin exploring the city is Darling Harbor. This largely pedestrian district is home to markets, upscale shopping, top dining, and many cafes and bars. From here, you can walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge and marvel at the Sydney Opera house. In the afternoon, visitors can choose to explore the many works of art at the Art Gallery of New South Wales or meet unique local species, such as koalas, komodo dragons and kangaroos at the Wild Life Sydney Zoo. There are also many things to do in Sydney and the surrounding areas for the active traveler. The city is located on the coast, close to miles of sandy surfing beaches like Bondi Beach, where you can swim in the 50-meter saltwater pool. Another option is to kayak in the harbor, hike at the Royal National Park or cycle along the coast. The city is also the perfect place for the gourmands. Discover the Sydney’s many foodie neighborhoods from upscale fine-dining, to cozy local eats and authentic foods from around the world.
