Start your successful meeting with a toast: The new foyer is directly connected to the entrance of the meeting complex, the hotel and to our meeting room on level 1, thus can be easily expanded for exhibitions or creative coffee breaks. Welcome to our Ballroom on Level 1

Our ballroom is located on the groundfloor - ideal for large events such as panel discussions or press conferences for up to 300 PAX. This room can be also separated by a divider for smaller events.

Maximum room capacity

Level 1 / ABC is our largest meeting room. The maximum capacity depends on the current local specifications. We will be happy to help you plan your event with the appropriate distance regulations.

How are the meeting rooms equipped?

Our meeting rooms at level 4 + 5 have a flat screen and a flipchart. These are an integral part and are already included in the room rent.
Level 4 A also has a projector installed on the ceiling. The Ballroom Level 6 also has an included TV and overhead projector. In order to make full use of the size, the room also has a large screen.

How are the foyers furnished and what special features do they offer?

Our foyers, which are located on each level in front of the meeting rooms, offer the ideal space for our creative meeting coffee breaks. From a full fridge filled with local and national products, to a tea and coffee station, to spacious areas for hamburger and finger food, everything is ready waiting for you and your meeting guests.

What is "special" about the Ballroom on the 1st level?

The largest meeting room on the ground floor, level 1 ABC can be expanded to a total of 368 m² and represents the largest meeting room. The room offers flexible solutions for your presentation and includes a projector and screen combination. Level 1 was recently modernized, the design is timeless and the space enables flexible implementation of any event concept.

What are the special features of the new builiding extension?

The special features of the new conference building at Le Méridien Hamburg include a separate entrance that enables direct access, as well as an extended entrance for vehicle access, a vehicle presentation can now take place at any time, and the building also has a wide range of solutions for individualizing an event.

How high are the ceilings in the meeting rooms? Which room has the highest ceiling and how high is it?

The meeting rooms have a ceiling height of 3 meters. The ballroom on the 6th floor offers a particularly generous view of the Alster with a ceiling height of 4 meters.

Regarding car presentations: How big + heavy can the objects be? How do the exhibition models get into the room? Which room is available for this?

The lobby of the conference building is ideal for the presentation of a car. A specially built-in door (2.20m wide and 2.30 high) offers the ideal conditions for drive-in.

Is it possible to park your car at the hotel?

The hotel's underground car park has 80 parking spaces. We offer you the service of having your car parked by our concierge team or doing it yourself.

Are there e-chargers installed in the hotel garage?

There are two e-charger charging stations for electric cars in our hotel's underground car park.

Can I celebrate my Christmas party in the hotel?

With the HERITAGE restaurant and the ballroom, Le Méridien Hamburg offers two excellent locations for your Christmas party.

Is there a train station nearby?

Hamburg's main train station is in the immediate vicinity and can be easily reached in 10 minutes on foot.

How long does it take to get to the airport?

You can easily reach the airport of Hamburg by taxi or public transportation (train S1 from the main station). Depending on traffic, the journey takes between 35 and 45 minutes.

Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Reception
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
Schoolroom or Classroom
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
Ovals and Rounds
Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.
