Moselle Municipal Market

Enjoy the fruits and vegetables produced locally and discover flowers and local crafts at the municipal market. Open from Tuesday to Sunday, it is a not-to be-missed place, especially on weekends with Pacific music in the background. Experience it like the local! Order a café and croissant ath the central café.

Visit the Surroundings at the Sea Level

Plenty of day trips on the lagoon are on offer from Nouméa. Choose to visit to the nearby islets, sail by the reef on a catamarran, or enjoy fishing like a pro! If you travel in the cool season, you might see whales who migrate in the warmer waters of the lagoon.

The Tjibaou Cultural Center

Built by the famous architect Renzo Piano, who also designed the Pompidou Center in Paris, Tjibaou Cultural Center is a beautifully set in landscaped garden and open the doors of the Pacific art and culture to its visitors. Also to be discovered: the City Museum set in the former Town Hall of Nouméa, the World War II museum and the Maritime Museum.
