The Highlight Room

A stylish garden in the sky floating 16 stories above the Lower East Side, The Highlight Room is a glamorous rooftop bar and outdoor terrace that hosts showstopping events and gatherings with commanding views of the New York skyline. Ascending on a dedicated elevator from a street-level alley behind the hotel, guests arrive to a private Eden with hanging plants, fabric lanterns, lush greenery, and a majestic olive tree. An operable glass wall spans the entire width of the bar, folding back to allow access to the outdoor terrace, where guests can lift a cocktail to the expansive views — north to the Empire State Building, south to the Freedom Tower. The north and south sides of the room are lined with banquettes positioned to take advantage of the cityscape views from floor-to-ceiling windows. Indoors: 1,785 square feet, 146 capacity. Outdoors: 422 square feet, 29 capacity. Total: 2,207 square feet, 175 capacity.

Sake No Hana

Occupying a dramatic space beneath the catwalk entry of Moxy Lower East Side, Japanese restaurant Sake no Hana serves free-spirited izakaya dishes invigorated with New York attitude. With a shareable menu of grilled teppanyaki dishes, yakitori skewers, Wagyu beef, and creative sushi rolls, and a curated list of sakes, beers, and cocktails, the restaurant is perfect for celebrating a wedding, birthday, or other special occasion. Seating 22, Sake no Hana’s private dining room is located at the rear of the restaurant and elevated to optimize sightlines. A metal screen allows guests to enjoy the main dining room’s sights and sounds. On the back wall, a custom installation of tasseled fabric — inspired by Japanese horsehair and punk hairstyles — transforms into a draped, tent-like ceiling with hanging light fixtures. The restaurant is also available for a full buyout. Private Dining Room 283 square feet, 22 capacity. Full Buyout: 4,227 square feet, 292 capacity.

Meeting Studios

Moxy Lower East Side’s three flexible Meeting Studios are ideal for meetings, events, social gatherings — or all three! One large and two smaller Studios are located on either side of The Fix and can be closed off for privacy. All three Studios feature versatile armchair-style seating and modular conference tables that can be easily reconfigured to transform the space into a lounge by night. The larger studio has an extended conference table suited for co-working, meetings, or dining; it features direct access to the open-air colonnade outside and comes with an additional lounge seating area, plus a dueling Ms. Pac-Man game table. The two smaller Studios can be reserved separately or joined together. Large Studio: 471 square feet, 27 capacity. Small Studios: 306 square feet, 20 capacity combined

Silver Lining

An intimate, dreamlike lounge, Silver Lining can be reserved for private events and celebrations. Inspired by Andy Warhol’s Silver Factory, the sultry space sparks creative inspiration with luxurious, nostalgic materials and glimmering surfaces. The bar glows with a playful arrangement of backlit circular mirrors, and a bespoke hand-drawn wallcovering tells the story of the neighborhood. A series of low tables and chairs upholstered in blue velvet sits under vaulted ceilings and an elaborate custom light fixture by a Brooklyn artist. In one corner, a small stage with a piano provides a perch for musicians and vocalists to provide live entertainment. 1,874 square feet, 154 capacity

Loosie's

Subterranean in both location and spirit, Loosie’s is an edgy club beneath Moxy Lower East Side with a killer sound system and no-attitude dance floor — a unique spot for an unforgettable event. Guests enter by way of an alley behind the hotel, descending past walls swirling with paint into a room inspired by the downtown art scene of the 1980s. An “exploded” disco ball chandelier casts a decadent spell over the tufted banquettes. The space has a bold but intimate feel, with materials that reflect the grittiness of the Lower East Side: cement-like walls embedded with metallic specks, a scaffolding-inspired cage above the bar whose intelligent lights sync with the night’s soundtrack. 2,053 square feet, 165 capacity

The Factory Loft Suite

Our 7th-floor hospitality suite, The Factory Loft is the ultimate spot for parties, events, meetings, and celebrations. Named for Andy Warhol’s legendary Factory studio, the suite consists of a double-height, open-plan living space with floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto an enormous outdoor terrace with stunning views of New York City. Rose- and bronze-tinted accent mirrors line the walls, and a gigantic floral mural depicts cheeky Lower East Side denizens posing among the flowers. Spread out on the large velvet sofa adorned with playful cushions and serve food and drinks at the marble-topped bar. A contemporary chandelier shape like a cut diamond hangs above the large dining table, which seats 10. Even more tempting is the enormous outdoor terrace, impeccably planted and providing two areas for lounge seating as well as a dining table seating 10. The Factory Loft suite can be combined with two adjoining King bedrooms and bathrooms. 546 square feet, 46 capacity

Banquet
Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.
Conference and Hollow Square
Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Reception
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
Schoolroom or Classroom
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
Ovals and Rounds
