Bioluminescent Bay Kayaking Tour

El Yunque Tour

The east of Puerto Rico offers the only subtropical rainforest in the United States Forest Service. With its waterfalls, hiking trails, and panoramic vistas, the forest system is a nature lover’s wonderland, and offers tourists a variety of activities ranging from a leisurely hike to extreme adventuring.

There’s no other place like it in Puerto Rico. In fact, there’s no other place like it in the entire United States. Under its trees, you’ll find a unique ecosystem that has enchanted its visitors for centuries. There are plenty of reasons why it was a contender for the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Its 28,000 acres are crisscrossed with hiking trails that will take you on a mind-blowing journey.

Manatees Center

The Manatee Conservation Center of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico receives visits from groups of students, tourists and the general public interested in conservation efforts in favor of manatees.

The visits include a small orientation in our research and rehabilitation laboratories to see first-hand the work of the Center to help safeguard this species from extinction in the style of a "behind the scenes" tour guided by our technicians and volunteers. The visits also include teaching material on the conservation of this species that complements what was experienced during the visit.

This hour and a half visits have the endorsement of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. Visiting hours are in four blocks available:
