The Whitley Ballroom

Befitting extravagant receptions against a jewel-toned palette accented with metallic pops, our classically elegant space sets the stage for a memorable event of up to 1,000 guests. Completely customizable, The Whitley Ballroom’s 8,970 square feet of space can be tailored for smaller soirees for 20-60 attendees with the same luxurious ambiance.

Legacy Ballroom

Distinguished by its 14-foot ceiling, the new 5,000-square-foot Legacy Ballroom sparkles with crystal chandeliers. Floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the space beckon warm, natural light and starry sky views at night. Start cocktail hour the traditionally Southern way on the private terrace with a Mint Julep or The Whitley Cup cocktail before retreating indoors to dance the night away.

The Founders Room

Tucked away on the second floor, the adjacent grand staircase lends itself to a romantic bridal departure after a celebratory reception for up to 150 guests. Offering nearly 2,000 square feet of space, The Founders Room enchants with crystal chandeliers and mirror accents.

Conference and Hollow Square
Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Reception
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
Schoolroom or Classroom
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
