Your day starts with a visit to the historic Rialto market, one of the oldest in Italy, where you are introduced to fresh local produce, its seasonality, and given tips for selecting the finest and freshest of these delectable ingredients.
Afterwards, at a traditional bacaro, indulge in a glass of prosecco and a tasting of typical cicchetti, delicious small bites of Venetian cuisine.
Back at The Gritti Epicurean School, don your aprons for a fun culinary lesson with the Chef and begin to transform your ingredients into a seasonal 3-course menu.
On Tuesdays, half-day classes focus on vegetables and the creation of original and delicious dishes that respect the garden cycle of Mother Nature.
Classes require a minimum of 2 participants but are also ideal for team building, spouse programs with a maximum attendance of 8 people.
A 72 hour advance reservation is kindly required.
